Comments
Rode the main chute in south west gulch, from base with 10 cm wind slab. Facing east, safe.
Further south in the valley, on pitches facing south east, snow absorbed more sun, 10 cm wind slab was heavy, and steep pitches were shedding into avalanches - small, level 1. Played it safe
Skied Japanese trees, safe, but sun also warmed snow.
Sun crust will be present once new snow arrives
