Great day up the Puzzle Peak Ramp on Sunday. Temps were -10 leaving the car at 9:45 and -6 at the car when we returned around 14:30. Observed two older sz 1-1.5 wind slabs that had released just below the cornice that is forming on the upper ridge of Dolomite.
Good, fun snow from about 50m below the top down the ramp, with the ski out in good shape as well.
Dug a pit @ 2450m on a SW aspect. HS 106cm CTH - 22 SC down 60cm on facets.
