Comments
Put an uptrack up to the Rampart Bowl and Mushroom People area. 25cm ski penetration, the snow has settled a lot! Fast skiing with considerable sloughing. No wind felt or ridge transport observed. Temperatures were inverted. Surface hoar growing and faceting of the upper pack. We had the whole Asulkan Valley to ourselves. Eerily quiet Rogers Pass! Eggnog was had. Merry Christmas!
