Comments
Interesting conditions skiing at black Prince yesterday. 20cm storm snow sitting on top of Windslab. Massive inversion with 10-15 degree temp difference from valley floor to alpine. Valley bottom we noted whumfing and shooting cracks on that Windslab while breaking trail. We stuck to lower angle slopes at treeline/alpine and the Windslab was soft from strong solar/inversion. Pinwheeling noted in at treeline as we left. Great skiing higher, but poor skiing below treeline with the hard Windslab.
