Comments

Mostly fast travel today on the Tupper Traverse. Below treeline travel is heinous, and ski crampons would be helpful on the hermit trail.

Found soft snow on far skier's left of the Tupper glacier while in the sun, but upon descending into the glacier basin, snow quality turned to terrible wind-pressed crust.

A couple of sags on the glacier are still present.

The exit path on the east side of Tupper went size 3.5, and there is frozen debris down 3/4 of the feature. Skiing the path's debris was by far the worst riding conditions on the traverse.

Found surface hoar today in most places, forming on the crust as well, 2-5mm in size.
