Comments

Overcast 8/8 with some breaks toward end of day, initially, no precipitation. Warm temps ~ 5c at 2100m at around 0930-1000 and rising. Profile on S-SE Aspect. HS 45cms. 10cm snow at 0c. Calm winds at observation site increasing to light at ridgetop. Pressure per Suunto 1031hpa and falling.

Some whumpfing observed on S aspects at treeline disapting as one moved into the alpine.

Observation site with a few layers of facet/crust combo. Non-reactive.

Supportive crust with no signs of instability in the alpine. Fun skiing. Back toward the lower plot at +/- 1400, rain and snow mixture. At the car light rain and temps steady at 3c.
