Comments
Up to 50 cm of fresh powder on top of melt-freeze crust.
HS 180 cm
CT pit results:
CTE 3 (SP) down 30 cm
CTE 4 (SP) down 50 cm
CTM 20 (SP) down 60 cm
Pretty convincing to stay off anything steeper. However today new snow was still pretty fluffy and not consolidated so you could get away with it to the extent. That may all change by tomorrow.
There are obvious week layers both above and below the recent melt-freeze crust. Both produced results in CT.
