Parker ridge trees

Friday overnight saw about 10cm and light snow throughout the day Saturday. Storm snow skiied well, could feel the firm top crust on many turns but did not break through. Lots of wind effect noted: alpine was it's usual wind scoured and in the trees many small wind lips made surprise fun for the unobservant. We were one of about 5 parties in the Parker ridge tree triangle, a real party!

Skiied the small bench slope above Hilda Creek hut on Sunday and it was about the same.

No avalanche activity/concerns noted in these modest slope areas.
