Comments
We carefully skied out onto a 38 degree north facing slope on the skiers right side of Semi-Circular Bowl with the goal of doing a snow profile in this kind of terrain. When doing a kick turn on the far side, we got a large whumph on the slope and it cracked all around us. We skied out of there one at a time. Spooky.
