Comments
A bit of welcome new snow after the past couple weeks of high pressure. We had hoped to ski a bigger objective, but turned around after finding more snow (and wind) than anticipated at TL. Steady moderate SW winds pressing snow on windward slopes and building soft slabs up to 20cm in lee features. Cornices appeared to be growing rapidly, and we felt uncertain of how well the new snow was bonding to the old hard slab in the ALP. Ski quality is improving BTL, but it's got a ways to go.
