Comments

Skied some small slopes above the marked route. Was setting off small slides on SE aspect slopes with crowns 20-40cm. Multiple other small slabs released on all aspects.

Dug a full profile pit 220cm. High temperature gradient in the first 40cm of snow. 2 layers that produced results at 30cm(CTE 3) and one at 60cm(CTH 8) down. Air temp was hovering around -0.5.

Started raining at 1250 around 1430.

Interesting time to learn on low consequence slopes.
