Skied and set track up (after last weeks coastal snowfall) Tryst on Friday with a couple laps on the chutes. Awesome turns on nice deep and stable snow. Chutes are well filled in and in beautiful condition. Zero wind that day too. We dug a quick pit to find no apparent weak layers. Total depth is 100 to 120cm, about 30cm of loose dry over a consistent and consolidated 40cm from last week which was interfacing well with the basal layers that sit on 10cm of fairly dense sugary facets. No scary test results to report.

Did meet two nice fellas at the mouth of the drainage, wish you had climbed just a wee but higher to find those crusts become less and less pronounced with elevation gain. Riding quality was amazing and coverage allowed us to drop into the steeps. Just gotta push through the droopy trees and rain crusts lower down.
