Comments

Partially cloudy, about -8C at the base of the climb. Big snow plumes blowing from the ridges in the afternoon.

2 trees have blown down across the approach trail - bring a saw. Through the trees trail good. From the trees to base of ice climb snow is calf to mid thigh snow drifts.

1 big whumpf when entering the snow gulley half way up from the trees.

Ice was dinner plates most of the way up on fresh ice.

At the top there are 3 anchors. Farthest right anchor has a rap ring that flexes significantly under test weight it deformed into an oval. We moved our rappel to the middle anchor.
