Comments

Skied from the top of Bruins Pass into Ursus Trees. HS ranged from 20Cms in wind effected areas to 135cms just below the climb to Bruins Pass. snow below 2400m was supportive with boot penetration to 35cms - slight wind crust had formed above 2400m with several thin spots to watch out for.

Trees above 1800m offered some phenomenal turns but below 1800m watch out for a mix bag of heavy, consolidated storm snow followed by a significant rain crust closer to valley bottom.

Several natural slab avalanches had run to size 1.5 with minimal loose wet activity from the recent warming/rain event.

Great day had by all for October 31st!
