Comments
Great conditions doing laps on the south slope of purple knob/dogleg. 15-20cm of fresh snow. Gained the ridge at noon, wind affected and thin but no signs of instability. The south slope had absolutely no wind affect. 3 fresh tracks from earlier in the day. Was extremely leary of the solar input but the slope proved to be stable and the snow didn’t start getting dense/developing a crust until approx 3pm at which point we skied the dog leg (which was soft but quite skied out) back to the car. Overall very good day.
