Comments
Lakit lookout today we found 18 cm of new snow when we arrived and another 6 fell while we were there! There wasn't a breath of wind the entire time which was odd, but great for the skiing. Skiing down, we triggered lots of small, size 1, avalanches within the storm snow. They were spreading up to 15 m off our skis without any effort. We scrapped our plan to ski some 30 degree trees and stuck to low angle, safe slopes on our way out.
