Went for an exploratory tour to Christiana Trees - the creek is not in! We found a barely make-able crossing on the way in but much of it was collapsing. Our exit upstream was in "wet feet" condition.
Snow felt a bit heavier below ~1400m. Between 1400m and our high point of 1600m we noticed some hoarfrost that had grown on the trees in large openings. We did not see any on the snow surface with the recent snowfall. The day was generally warm and foggy, with no noticeable wind. We saw some big tree bombs after noon, and the parking lot was 0°C when we left at 4pm.
Overall fun powder turns on the way down with decent coverage (lumpy/aldery in places but no holes), but it still felt a little early. Getting back to the summer trail from the creek was a slog.
