Awesome day up on Sparrowhawk. It was mixed snow/dirt from the road up to about 1950 m. After that we were able to skin. Good refreeze which meant ski crampons were very helpful. There was snow to the summit but it’s melting quickly. South facing slopes were getting soft by 10:30 or so.
