Comments
Aborted tour from Bow Hut to Guy Hut on Saturday, March 4. High winds and snow all night Friday . Saturday morning, still blowing but by 10:30 it began to calm down. We started up the Onion on our way the Guy Hut. 30-40cm of new snow on the lee features on the ascent. 10cm new wind affected snow on the neve with a few moments of good visibility. On the descent toward Mt Collie the snow and wind picked up again and we retreated. On the exit from Bow Hut we found 30cm new snow, no problems on the headwall descent.
