Comments

Sunny skies and -4 today. Snow was amazing, 40cm+ of drifted storm snow in the leeward bowls and valleys. Above tree line pretty much scored from strong south winds of this last storm. Snowmobiled up to the Chilkoot Pass overlook (wind scoured) and over to Summit Creek from Fraser Lake. Surprising stable conditions were observed from the very active testing by a busy two-stroke crowd. Observed numerous sled lines in high risk storm slab on lee and convex slopes and nothing was moving. This past storm must have bonded well? All in all it felt stable and a great day to be out in the mountains.
