good day up mount trudeau today. skiing in the trees was solid. a bit of recent snow on top of a supportive base made for fun fast skiing. at and above treeline was a writeoff with a fairly stiff windslab with lots of variablity on all aspects of the shoulder. visible wind transport blowing south on the feature while we were up there and some isolated shooting cracks on the north side of the shoulder.
the lowest elevations (~1300m and below) had a sun crust forming in open areas that was manageable during the ski out but will probably stiffen up overnight.
