Comments
Light dusting of snow ~ 1 -2 cm overnight, weather was mostly cloudy with sunny breaks. Started at 9 am -4, by 12 noon temps warmed to 1 degree. Stayed below tree line at 2000 m and skiied dense trees.
Dug a pit, snow depth ranged 80-130 cm. While digging snow was like pure sugar crystals not consolidated down to 80 cm. gave us little faith to ascend any higher.
With warmer temps this week natural hazards are going to start to reveal themselves.
Overal a fun and safe morning out
