Skinned to Boom lake to have a look around. HS 50cm at 1900m. Nov5 2-8cm thick IFrc is down 10cm at 1900m. Breakable on flat terrain and supportive on South facing slopes, also observed thinner (<1cm thick) crust 5-10cm below Nov5th. Snow is faceted below/between both crusts. The 10cm of snow above Nov5th crust is low density (fist) pow.
Observed Na sz2 (suspected loose dry but start zone was obscured) at 1220hrs roughly 300m lookers right of kindergarten in steep unskiable N facing alpine. Also observed older sz2 windslab (24-48hr) in kindergarten fan. Crown line was filled in in areas but appeared to be up to 1m deep at deepest. Estimated dimensions are 30-100cm deep, 60-100m wide, and 140-180m long. Only other note was chunky debris in fans of most N facing alpine paths. No activity observed on S facing ALP an TL but had limited visibility.
