Comments
Went up to Lake Agnes (hiker’s trail has several small down trees that would benefit from a hand saw). Skinned up to the Big Beehive-Devil’s Thumb Col and over to BB. Skiing was variable with sections of deep powder and breakable crust. Skinned steep sparse trees and avy slopes to the Nikblock-St.Piran Col (ski crampons mandatory) then booted to the summit of SP. Skied down the SE face on variable wind affected snow, skinned up Little Beehive, then skied surprisingly good powder in the trees and down the horse trail to Lake Louise.
