-22 and very windy on road, once protected by creek gully and hill was nice. The snow was much deeper but towards alpine only good in blown areas like gullys.
Pit showed a three tier ice layer about 8cm down and about 4cm thick of 3 distinct layers. Compression test failed here. Otherwise base seemed good.
