Skied to bottom of Truda Col on Swiss Peaks, Hermit walking path great uphill travel, desperate and thin downhill travel. Quick pit on bottom slopes of Swiss summit couloir revealed CTM17/20 SP down 40 on faceting snow, below last weeks windslabs. VW sized cornice chunks on SE facing slopes of Mt. Rogers, looked a couple days old.
