Out on the Tophat Traverse, run down from the col was quite tracked out with ~20-30 of heavy 4F snow in untracked areas. We cut one small sz 1 stiff windslab on NE aspect near the top of the run propogating a few meters and entraining snow for 25m before stopping. Midpack supportive and generally well settled.
Track for exit and approach well set, lots of untouched snow around Hamilton lake and Carnavon for lapping opportunities.
