Comments
The riding was very good in terrain that was protected from the wind. There was 30-40 cm of recent storm snow above a supportive mid-pack. The exposed plateau in the alpine had been stripped back to the old hard surface with some sastrugi waves evident. Recent cornice triggered wind slabs were observed up to size 2.0 in the entrance bowl and also at the Lake. Today was mostly clear with some scattered cloud and light winds.
