Got a very easy result from a ski cut at ~1100M in the trees. The feature was steep, (~40 degrees.) The top 25cm slid, failing on an interface in the storm snow. I've got a cool video of the ski cut but the report only seems to allow photos. We stayed away from steep slopes after that. The mellower slopes, in the 30 degree range, didn't yield any results during ski cuts.
