About a foot of snow covering the ice on hector lake. Cooler day on Sunday so it just barely supported skier weight late afternoon. Same with trees between lake and road. Cold dry snow on true north aspects on wapta in Balfour region. Melt freeze crust on steep solar aspects in high alpine observed. Grizzly tracks reported in hector lake region.
