There is a large avalanche cycle happening in the Apex Backcountry following this weeks storm. 4 significant slides were reported in the last 48hrs, with one person partially buried. The triggers for the slides include remote, accidental, and ski cut.

At least two of the slides have gone on basal facets, with crowns 90cm+, running full path.
