Shames observations

Snow conditions were:

• Crusty
• Powder
• Wind affected

We rode:

• Mellow slopes

One large (size2.5?) Observed from parking lot in Zola bowl lookers left of the lake..looked to be a cornice failure and likely ran right into the lake

Evidence on solar aspects of a melt/freeze cycle in the last few days. With the high cloud and cold light N wind today was all freeze no melt at higher elevations, lower elevations were becoming soft more so on the solar aspects

No new naturals visible in the immediate slack country area.

Skiing was generally poor on a mix of sun crust wind slab and the occasional powder turn
