Snow was wind effected and crusty higher up, with signs of southwesterly winds cross loading the slopes we were on. Area was quite tracked out with pockets of good snow to be found. Chunks of snow were slabbing off higher up when compressed, and there were signs of what we thought was a cornice having fallen.
