Comments
Skied Bruins Ridge and 8812, ski quality on the ridge and lower angle slopes of 8812 Bowl was excellent, 50cm ski pen on descent. Above 2300m on the ridge and near the col the snow was heavily wind affected.
Tests approaching Bruins ridge at 2000m on E aspect CTM resistant planar down 70 on large stellars, on SE aspect CTM resistant planar ECTN on the same layer. Crust down 120 (Dec 7?) failed after the test with extra load. Whumpf ascending to col from ridge. S face into bowl had already released.
