Comments
Skinned up bodybag, down to circle lake, up to Spearhead shoulder, down and across Spearhead Glacier to Husume.
Encountered 15-20 cm of new snow on all slopes, with some wind affect on S facing slopes below spearhead shoulder, also noticed a thin 2cm sun crust developing on steep solar aspect during the skin up to Husume.
The spearhead glacier is still extremely thin in many areas. There are thinly bridged crevasses below guides notch, and Don't Swill. As well as a large band of open crevasses below spearhead shoulder. While approaching Husume we probed our way over a series of thin bridges just past the boulderfeild.
