Comments
Had an amazing day of skiing at Vermillion - stayed away from the main slide path mostly because it had seen a lot of recent traffic and the overhead risk. The snow was heavy from the plus 0 temps until around 2100m where it became much lighter. The skiing was great more or less to 200m above the road (the thick trees don’t help)
The wind at treeline was strong and we stayed away from the alpine.
No signs of instability on the rolls and steep pitches in the burn, but a windslab was starting to form higher up. It could be a problem under the forecasted storm snow
