Comments
Paralleling ridge on snowmobile, accidental trigger near convex of NE slope - propagating 150 plus meters in width into large wind-loaded slab / cornice. Avalanche picked up speed instantly on a hard surface on Lee slope traveling full slope and into trees. No step downs noted below sliding surface. Slab thickness varied 40 cm to 80 cm.
