Comments
Heavily wind affected slopes in the alpine on all aspects. Extensive wind transport providing for deep powder. Cohesion of some surface snow observed. No avalanche activity witnessed. Wind gusts and sustained high winds near ridges. Depth at location 120cm. After this storm cycle excellent powder conditions will be up there but first 1.5km of the uptrack is icy and challenging. Open creeks still in lower drainage areas. Early season conditions including hidden hazards persist at all elevations.
