Comments
Great although windy day for an AST course in the Bullmoose, we got blessed with good views into the alpine and nice warm weather, as long as you stayed out of the INSANE southwest winds. New reactive wind slabs are forming everywhere that the wind can affect, and we saw a widespread natural cycle that looked 48+hrs old on NE-W aspects. We triggered a small cornice, and heard whumphs when we stopped. The mid December crust is down 135 cm, with lots of facet development above and below it. Overall HS valley bottom is 200 cm
