Comments
Went to Nordstrom and spent the day fighting the strong winds stripping ridges and SW aspects. The snowpack in this area is very shallow. There was 50-80cm of snow with the early season crusts near the bottom of the snowpack with weak sugary facets above and below them. This is currently making access to these areas possible but with incoming weather later this week these could become a bigger problem.
