Comments
Noted one recent size 2 avalanche from the past 12 hrs in a steep wind effected NE facing bowl at 2400m. We also had several moderate sized whumphs in open areas at tree line. A snow pit at 2300m on a 28 degree NE aspect gave moderate to hard Sudden Collapse results down 45cm below a crust in the sugary facets at the base of the snowpack.
Barely enough snow to ski planar features above 1900m.
