Comments
Had a great day skiing the pillows off Glacier Crest and part of the run to Lookout Col. The sun was a surprise addition to our day. The alpine was visibly wind effected and the snow was quite stiff breaking trail, but wonderful to ski. The pillows all broke away very easily but there was no propagation.
We tried to get up to Lookout Col for a second run but didn't beat our turnaround time. The was more wind effected coming down here on the Illecillewaet side and there was wind slabs and isolated wind crust, but still fun skiing.
We saw a small avalanche release off the Cleaver and another come down above the Practice slopes and cross a lot of old tracks. I'm pretty sure no one was caught in that one.
