Comments
Hero snow day, skiing quality was excellent. Mostly cloudy with sunny breaks, visibility was generally good although changing fast so we did not venture too high above treeline. Moderate winds with gusts approx. 40 km/h in the alpine. Light wind in the treeline, enough for plucking snow bombs off the trees. Snow transport was substantial, filling in tracks within two hours likely. Soft slabs developing in the afternoon above treeline, small cracks not propagating beyond 20 cm around 15:00. Wind slab problems may develop overnight.
