Comments
Skied the N facing bowl on Feather. The snow was very wind affected for almost the entire route. A few small pockets of softer snow, but mostly stiff wind crust and sastrugi. -15 or colder the whole day. Observed 2 Size 1 slab avalanches on steep NE slopes. Attached is a photo of the more recent looking one, lookers left of the Notch. It was a little blown in so we figured a few days old. But reading the MIN, these are likely the slides observed a week ago. Good reminder for me that it can be hard to date 'em.
