Comments

Stormy day in the Crowsnest with higher than forecast snowfall amounts. Around 10 cm of new snow fell at treeline while we were there! There was 30cm of low density snow from the last few days in sheltered areas, and in more exposed terrain the moderate westerly winds were blowing it around at all elevations.

Visibility was poor in the alpine so we couldn't tell if there had been any natural avalanches, but the stormy weather was intense enough that it made us wary of bigger avalanche terrain so we chose to avoid it.
