Snow conditions
- Riding quality was:
- Good
- Snow conditions were:
- Powder
- Wind affected
- We rode:
- Mellow slopes
- Open trees
- Steep slopes
Comments
~5mm surface hoar around 1500m elevation in the open trees with lower slope angle.
Ridge tops and tree line on W / SW aspects were pretty heavily wind stripped. Lee slopes had surprisingly good and stable ski conditions.
No cracking or whumpfing all day.
We skied a conservative first run and went a little steeper on the second once we felt more comfortable with conditions.
