Comments

The North side of Maryland FSR has a significant crust. A crust strong enough to leave a bruise on my forearm after dropping a shoulder into the hill to cut a steep sidehill. Around the Terry Watt Cabin, the snow doesn't have as much of a crust, and has more fresh powder to play in. There were some natural small slides we observed on the North Side of Maryland FSR about 7 kms up.
