Comments
3day trip meant 2 days on the slopes. Friday night howled like never before thankfully had settled to breezey for Saturday + Sunday with light storms rolling in and out. With the wind loading and avi report we didn't even entertain riding N, NE, NW aspects. Instead we started mellow on a S slope and worked our way to steeper slopes on similar aspects ending on a SW facing slopes. No evidence of instability when touring or visually on any other aspect. Slight sloughing on the last steep slope especially the more West it faced so we stuck to the SW aspect. The snow was fantastic wish we could've stayed longer and checked out the other slopes as things settle! But don't we always....
