Comments
Geronimo skied extremely well with dry, cold powder on top of a supportive snowpack. The crown on the upper slope is still visible but most debris are gone.
Despite the sunny day, the snow stayed cold. We avoided rocks and trees on the upper convex slopes of Geronimo in case of heating. The snow was good even lower down in the exit pitch. We avoided the Geronimo/Hourglass/Tree Triangle drainage by skiing the steep trees of Geronimo.
