This is a secondhand report given to the South Rockies Field Team of the incident: A timbersledder triggered a size 1 avalanche on a road bank approximately 20cm deep on the mid Dec weak layer of facets. It was on an east facing slope below treeline near Tent Mountain by the Crowsnest Pass. He was partially buried by the debris and his machine due to being pushed into the terrain trap of the road.
